So I just spent the better part of an hour entering the Galloway training schedule into the new Nike+ Coach system. It's a pretty cool way to log your training program and see how you're keeping up with it. Unfortunately, it gave me the total miles I have to run between now and Nov. 8 (three weeks after the marathon):

So, training during the winter is tough, especially when running indoors isn't very much fun. Everything is postponed until the weather gets a bit better. Hopefully by March things will be back to where I can get back into regular training.

I was just thinking about this, today, and while I'm sure that running is not the only sport to do this, I can think of few other sports were the vast majority of events conducted are almost exclusively for the benefit of charity. Makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy inside, don't it.
